What we collect

• The registration you check, sent to the DVSA to fetch the car's MOT records. We don't store it against you.
• Advert text you paste, used once to create your report and not kept.
• "I'd want this" clicks, counted anonymously to see which new features people want. We store only the number of clicks.
• Basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider for security, such as IP addresses, for a short time.

What stays on your device

Your recent checks and viewing checklists are saved in your own browser only. We can't see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we never do

• We never show who owns or owned a car, or where it's kept.
• We don't sell your data.
• We don't use advertising trackers.

Email updates

If you sign up for emails, your address is held by our email provider, used only to send what you signed up for, and you can unsubscribe in one click.
